Bino and Fino
Bino and Fino is an animated children’s show created by UK based Nigerian animator, Adamu Waziri. The two main characters are a brother and sister duo who teach children lots of things about Africa and life. Full episodes areavailable to stream on various online platforms but the YouTube channel still has a lot of great videos to watch.
Akili and Me
The Akili and Me YouTube channel offers more than 500 animated videos featuring 4 year old Akili and her adventures with family, friends and fantastic creatures from La La Land.
Ubongo Kids English
Ubongo Kids English is the official YouTube channel of Tanzania based Ubongo Kids, an animated educational show for children. This show is viewed across Africa and more than 200 videos are available on the channel.
Tinga Tinga Tales
Tinga Tinga Tales Official YouTube channel features over 300 animated videos for children ages 3-6. The content and style are inspired by African folklore and Tanzanian culture.
Simone’s Oasis
With more than 200 videos, Simone’s Oasis is a hub of fun and educational content featuring diverse African children including those with special needs.
SoKidz TV
SceneOne TV is a Nigerian channel providing diverse content including the animated children’s show, SoKidzTV. The 19 SoKidzTV videos are available in a playlist for easy viewing.
Masaka Kids Afrikana
This feel-good channel features a group of multi-talented young people from Masaka, Uganda dancing and singing covers and original songs.
The Superkids
The Superkids YouTube channel shows off music videos and behind-the-scenes content by the Nigerian children’s music group of the same name.
Kids Black History
This African history channel for kids is the brain child of a mother who is also a scholar and a Secondary school teacher. The videos feature her daughter.
